Comprising a mix of academics and creative engineers, the Research Department innovates and implements new solutions when none exist. It also tracks the latest trends in the DLT space, industry, and academia so that we can ensure our technology is on the cutting-edge.
Our engineers advance IOTA's open-source protocol and DLT. They build and maintain the core node software, the IOTA Explorer for transaction tracking, the IOTA wallet for user-friendly asset management, and the essential tooling that supports our ecosystem.
The Operations Department brings the structure and resources that allow the rest of the organization to thrive. From employee well-being to financial stability and bringing new talent to IOTA, it provides solid grounds for healthy growth.
The Legal & Regulatory Affairs Department handles all contractual matters, supports departments in legal risk management and frameworks, ensures compliance across jurisdictions, contributes to policy discussions, and collaborates with global regulators.
